- -Incorporating an Arab Society for Commercial and
Maritime Law, ASCML, was a direct result of the success of the
1st Arab Conference for Commercial and Maritime Law, ACCML'07,
and which took place under the auspices of the Arab Academy for
Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, in Egypt, Alexandria
on 12-13 May 2007. One of the main recommendations of ACCML'07
was the establishment of a permanent forum to secure
continuation of the event. Initial procedure for the
establishment of such forum took place on December 9, 2007 and
accumulated by the incorporation of ASCML as an Egyptian NGO,
number 2263, on 13, 2008.
